Nur Alia Idayu’s passion for baking stemmed from something all Malaysians relate to, a love for eating. It all began with a batch of her friend’s brownies that were so tasty she had to learn how to make them, and the rest were history. Pastellicious, her baking business, was born.
But maintaining a baking business in a small city like Terengganu does come with its own set of challenges. Combine that with a mother who believes a more practical job could promise a more secure career, Nur Alia has her work cut out for her.
